We're looking for an exceptional leader to join our growing team as Director of Service in Kansas City. This is more than just a management role - you'll be the driving force behind service excellence across multiple locations while leading our Kansas City operations team.
You'll have the unique opportunity to impact both strategic service delivery and day-to-day operations, working directly with and reporting to our VP of Operations to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Lead service operations across all company locations, setting the standard for quality and efficiency
- Develop innovative service strategies that boost customer satisfaction and drive revenue growth
- Analyze performance metrics and implement solutions that deliver real results
- Directly manage Service Managers and Kansas City signatory technicians
- Build a culture where safety, quality, and customer service thrive
- Partner with senior leadership on budgets and strategic planning
- Monitor key financial metrics such as gross margin, and direct/indirect time driving continuous improvement
- Provide expert technical support for escalated issues
- Handle high-value customer relationships and resolve complex disputes
- Stay ahead of market trends and competitive landscape in the Kansas City market
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field — OR — an equivalent mix of education and relevant experience required
- 7+ years in service operations with a track record of success
- 3+ years leading teams and driving results
- Proven experience managing P&L and multi-location operations
- Strong background in technical service environments
- Natural leadership ability with excellent communication skills
- Data-driven decision maker who can analyze performance and act quickly
- Customer-focused mindset with a passion for service excellence
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
