Job Summary

The Recruiter drives the organization's hiring initiatives through direct outbound sourcing and inbound applicant pools . This position is responsible for establishing and growing sustainable talent pipeline programs to support our workforce needs and initiatives. 

Responsibilities

  • Implement proactive sourcing strategies using LinkedIn Recruiter, industry networks, direct outreach, and other recruiting techniques to build talent pipelines.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill technical positions.
  • Leverage market intelligence to identify talent pools and establish effective outreach approaches.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment from requisition to offer extension to onboarding for all non-signatory positions across the organization.
  • Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand role requirements, providing strategic guidance on talent market conditions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers on candidate assessments, sharing detailed screening insights and making thoughtful recommendations based on technical and cultural fit.
  • Conduct regular consultation meetings with hiring managers to align recruitment strategies with evolving business needs.
  • Manage job requisitions, candidate screenings, and interview coordination.
  • Prepare offer packages, manage negotiations, and ensure smooth transition to onboarding.
  • Utilize ATS to track candidate progress, maintain accurate records, and generate performance analytics to share with hiring managers and Director of Human Resources
  • Establish metrics to measure effectiveness of recruitment channels and talent development programs.
  • Design and lead school-to-work transition and internship programs that create sustainable talent funnels.
  • Collaborate with HR team members to ensure seamless handoff of new hires at orientation.

Essential Key Performance Indicators (KPI)

  • Meet or exceed time to fill metrics.
  • Track conversion rates and quality metrics for each sourcing channels.
  • Established qualified candidate pools for critical roles (Project Manager, Programmer, Engineer, Client Consultant).
  • Meet or exceed initial candidate contact, screening feedback to hiring manager and interview scheduling.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of experience
  • 5 or more years of direct outbound sourcing recruitment experience required.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems and recruitment analytics.
  • Understanding of technical roles in building automation, controls, or related industries preferred
  • Experience developing talent pipelines and implementing sourcing strategies.
  • Proficiency to intermediate to advanced skills with LinkedIn Recruiter and social recruiting tools.
  • Exceptional consultative skills with ability to partner effectively with hiring managers.
  • Strong candidate assessment capabilities, particularly for technical roles
  • Proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels.
  • Highly organized with ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
